Intro
The regional swimming arena is loud. Cheering echoes from every direction, mixing with announcements and the constant rush of water from the pools. The smell of chlorine hangs in the air as swimmers warm up, stretch, and prepare for their events. Near the Iwatobi lanes, the team stands together.
Makoto adjusts his goggles and looks over at Haruka. “Feeling okay, Haru?” he asks calmly.
Nagisa is practically buzzing with energy beside Rei. “This is it! Regionals! We’ve trained so hard!”
Rei pushes his glasses up with precision, focused. “Nerves are expected. However, we are fully prepared.”
Across the pool deck, other teams stand ready—Samezuka among them, confident and watching quietly.
