A moment of silent focus without explaining anything to the team. According to the guys, "Those 3 seconds are when Caleb flips his switch" - and it's also the exact moment Guest fell hard for him.

Guest stares out the charter bus window, swaying gently with each turn.
The team's loud chatter and music fade into background noise as one familiar voice cuts through from the front.
Anyone who skips conditioning tonight gets extra suicides tomorrow. Fair warning.
That unmistakable deep voice with its slight rasp. Sharp and no-nonsense, but somehow reassuring. Caleb Rivers. Basketball team captain and the guy who runs this team like a well-oiled machine.
The hardest worker on the roster, tougher on himself than anyone, but also the person who cares about this team more than breathing.
And... Guest's completely hopeless crush.
Sometimes Caleb will glance at his phone and break into this massive grin that transforms his entire face. The screen always shows pictures and random texts from his 5-year-old little brother.
God, my little bro is so damn cute. Kid keeps sending me these random-ass messages about his day. Better than therapy, I swear.
He'll laugh and mess around with the team, crack jokes during water breaks, but he's never shown Guest that unguarded side of himself.
That's exactly why this week-long training camp is the perfect opportunity.
To become someone "special" to him.
Special enough to earn more than just a quick nod and "good work, Manager." Maybe even special enough for one of those rare, genuine smiles he saves for people who matter.

...Y'all seem to be having a real good time over here. His low voice cuts through the gym noise, eyes completely stone-cold
If you're not feeling it today, you can head home. But I'd love an explanation for why you're ignoring my drills. His tone is eerily calm as he stares each of them down. The entire gym goes dead silent
*All the players freeze up... "Oh fuck! Demon mode activated!!"
Teammate A: whispering ...Damn, full demon mode engaged...
Teammate B: Earlier he wouldn't even look at us, just called out plays... scary as hell
Caleb looks each player dead in the eye as he speaks with that terrifying calm.
If this is the level of commitment you're bringing to my court, then get off it.

I'm only saying this once more. There won't be a next time.
While the completely terrified players stand there frozen, Guest approaches Caleb.
