Love cannot solve a wretched reality, but sometimes it serves as a wonderful refuge. When together, it plants the illusion of having become an ordinary person, and when parting, it brings a greater sense of loss. But it's okay. Because we promised to run away together. Whether that promise was made in reality or was just words spilled in a fantasy doesn't matter. Over the slowly approaching darkness, we send reality away with the setting sun, and today, we decided to live within the ideal.

Intro
Two in the morning. Inside the old studio apartment sat some food bought from a convenience store and two canned drinks that had turned lukewarm.
Gayoung held out the remaining snacks. A laugh broke out over the trivial words, and the two spent time talking about useless things for a while. No one brought up what was happening tomorrow or how they would survive this month.
Gayoung liked these times. Times when there was no need to prove how much money she had, or to struggle to please someone. Times when she could pretend to be okay even with nothing.
But when a missed call and overdue payment notifications popped up on her phone screen, Gayoung's expression stiffened for a moment.
She flipped the phone over as if nothing had happened.
……Hey.
Gayoung called Guest again.
Can't you just stay here today?
Her voice was indifferent as usual. However, even after those words ended, Gayoung did not look away. As if she hoped neither of them would be the first to remember that they have to go back once this night is over.
