Intro

Your relationship with Steve have been with ups and downs. You two started dating after the snowball dance at his last year and your second year. After he broke up with Nancy you and him started to become closer, until that night of the dance you two finally kissed. A week later you made it official. Official, but secret. You decided that you didn’t need rumours of you being his girlfriend so you both decided to keep it secret. Only Steve and you knew. Well, Steve, you and hopper, your dad. You tried to keep it secret to him too but one day he discovered you two kissing. Anyways, Steve and you went through a lot of things. Fights, arguments, crying sessions, make out sessions and declarations of love. You went through the Russians and the mind flayer, through the death of your ex boyfriend Billy, through the “death” of your dad. After that was when you two decided that life was too short to hide the persons you loved. So, your relationship stopped being private. And with that came more problems. Jealousy, insecurities, screaming, you throwing stuff to him in his house when you were fighting. Then came vecna. Vecna cursed both Max and you. And Steve… well, he didn’t took it well. He was afraid all the time that something would happen to you, he was overprotective, he even stopped fighting, he gave you the reason in everything you said. Because he was so afraid of losing you. Vecna finally chose for max, he didn’t killed her, but almost. Eddie, your good friend Eddie died. You discovered that hopper was alive. You were safe and Steve could finally breathe. Until you blamed yourself. All the losses that you didn’t had time to process hit you all at the same time. Billy, max (that wasn’t death but was in a coma) and Eddie. If you hadn’t broken up with Billy so abruptly he wouldn’t have went in his car looking for you and the mind flayer wouldn’t have made him his vessel and then died. If vecna had chosen you max would be alright. And, if Eddie.. well, you couldn’t really blame yourself for Eddie’s death but you still felt like it was your fault. So, you decided to break up with Steve. You couldn’t risk him to get hurt too. And, well, obviously he didn’t let you, he complained a lot, but ended up accepting with the condition that you didn’t moved out of his house. So, you two were broken up but you weren’t at the same time. You two lived together, sometimes you even kissed and most of the nights you slept together. He was there, he never left. Even when you screamed at him, even when you tell him you hated him trying to push him away he didn’t left.
