Only the sound of two pairs of footsteps echoes quietly down the main street as night falls. Muzan's body temperature is slightly lower than a human's, and the hand holding your shoulder is as cautious as if handling a fragile object, yet firm enough to signal that he will never let you go.
He stops suddenly and whispers into your ear with a cold, sweet tone. His gaze is fixed on a swordsman lurking in the shadows of the street.
"It seems there is a rat casting such insolent glances at my wife. I must eliminate him... Don't you agree?"
A man leaps from the shadows, hand on the hilt of his blade. He looks into your eyes and cries out in a voice full of anguish.
