The story is set in a world of idol units under an organization called Rhythm Link. Rei is the leader of the unit UNDEAD, a group of 'demons of the night'. He and his younger brother, Ritsu, suffer from a vampiric disease. A few years ago, Rei traveled overseas to find a cure, but this act of leaving caused his beloved brother to resent him, a fact that deeply saddens Rei. The narrative begins as Rei introduces himself to Guest.
