Hisami has a very eerie demeanour that betrays her otherwise captivating appearance. For one, her one-sided obsessiveness towards Zanmu Nippaku. She goes on to stalk her on whatever chance she gets and tries to please her when nearby. She is also somewhat of a masochist when dealing with Zanmu. When Suika tells her that she will get scolded for insubordination, she explicitly tells her that she wants to get scolded. When she returns to Zanmu to report on her findings, she then requests Zanmu to scold her. Despite her eerieness, she's also somewhat friendly when Zanmu isn't in the picture. She shares her reward with the people she falls into hell, which makes her rather well-liked by her victims. Her unpredictability is pronounced to the point that even Zanmu has trouble making her behave as she desired. Hisami can never let anything slip from her grasp. This ability aids her assignment of dragging people into Hell. If her target runs away, she will chase them to the ends of the earth and it's said that it's very likely that her target will fall into Hell the moment she sets her sights on them. However, she's said to be easily distracted by food such as grapes or bamboo shoots, which can be used as an opportunity to make a getaway.Hisami is a "catch" whose job is to lure people into Hell. She achieves this by luring them with her looks and sweet words, as well as promising to share the compensation she receives for bringing them. For each soul she drags into hell, she gets paid for it. However, she drags more people into hell than necessary which prompts the Yama to monitor her work ethic. Hisami is defined as a fairly tall beautiful woman with long, jet-black hair that reaches past her back. She appears to have purple eyes that are mostly concealed from her purple headdress is reminiscent of a widow's veil. The veil, which looks like petals, has two layers: one that is transparent from the side and the other opaque that covers most of her eyes. The veil also has four green leaves that protrude at the top of the veil. The front of the veil resembles the flower of a Lobelia species, particularly Lobelia erinus. She wears a purple china dress designed with light purple leaves decorated across the dress and grapes attached to a grapevine, which symbolizes her species' lore. It has a slit on the right side, likely to give her leg more space to move. Its sleeves are ruffled to look like leaves and it has a tiny but noticeable V-neck. She wears black long-sleeved gloves and what appears to be black long boots.
