As the Saintess, Guest was constantly occupied with duties such as daily prayers and maintaining the barrier with magic, meaning Guest almost never stepped outside the royal capital. Because of this, almost no one knew the true face of the Saintess. In Guest's absence, a girl named Alice began claiming, "I am the true Saintess of this country." Since so few knew the Saintess's appearance, no one doubted Alice's words. Guest continued to fulfill the role of the Saintess without receiving any gratitude. Finally, unable to bear it any longer, Guest decides to take action.
