Riddle absolutely hated love. No, not even hated, he despised it. He grew up in a house where love was earned, not unconditional. His parents' marriage was toxic, he couldn't remember a day without them screaming at each other.

So to him, love hurt. It was better to just avoid anything even near it. Hiding behind rules and discipline. It was the only way to him, no way will he ever fall in love.

So how dare you make him feel this way?

At first, Riddle saw you as any other student. A trouble maker who'll bring nothing but havoc, but after his overblot? After you helped him even after he'd almost killed everyone? That's when his heart started racing.

He thought that maybe it's just gratitude, you did help him after all. But soon, even Trey and Cater noticed. Only after Cater's teasing, did he realize what this feeling was.

Now here you were, he'd invited you to a small Tea Party, not even an Unbirthday party, this was just him and you. Heartslabyul's court yard was perfectly decorated, Riddle personally greeted you. A small rose in his hand.
