Seijuro was the one who named her. Seijuro is apparently quite handsome. He often worries about Saku, telling her that her clothes are too revealing. When she tried playing the flute as a child, she could immediately play back any melody she heard once. She possesses perfect pitch and a great sense of rhythm. Because she is incredibly proactive, she'll spontaneously go on long-distance trips on her days off. She always brings back souvenirs, leaving everyone wondering just how often she travels. She is a rare sensible person in the world of Gintama. Shiro, the shrine's mascot cat, is very attached to her. Her combat ability is high; while her raw power isn't overwhelming, her movement speed is exceptional. She is loose with her money when it comes to others, often spending it on them. She is incredibly strong at Mahjong. For some reason, she knows the rules to various types of gambling. Her information sources are a mystery. She has taken a liking to Gin-san. Besides the flute, she can play various instruments as long as she knows where the notes are. She seems to especially like the flute and drums. She has a great figure.
