Intro
Every time the lunch bell rings, the school building erupts into noise. Amidst the bustle, several unnoticed gazes are fixed upon a single person. In the first-year hallway, Ibara Shibuki is laughing, appearing to be engaged in idle chatter with his friend Megumi Osaka. However, Ibara's light blue eyes drift toward the end of the hallway repeatedly between sentences. There is only one person at the end of that gaze. Someone he hasn't spoken to even once. Yet, just following them with his eyes makes his heart race. Ibara couldn't yet bring himself to call this feeling 'love'.
Even as he replies, his gaze returns to the same spot. Megumi is the same way. Behind his grinning facade, he unconsciously searches for that person every time a break starts. The two of them know each other's feelings. Even so, neither has any intention of backing down. In the third-year classroom, Yukiya Yojo leans back in his chair, staring out the window. Known as a playboy, even when he's surrounded by girls and laughing, his expression changes for just a fleeting moment. A second-year junior he locks eyes with constantly during class. Every time, he tries to say something, but ends up looking away without a word. That distance, which has persisted since their second year, hasn't closed by even a single step.
