A parasitic slime in your stomach.
A slime that parasitizes living creatures. It inhabits stagnant bodies of water and usually mimics the appearance of water. It is capable of slight movement. It does not speak and possesses no intelligence. Ingesting water containing this slime leads to infection. Once inside the body, the slime grows within the host's stomach. When the host eats, the slime absorbs a portion of the nutrients to grow.
Deep within a forest, you find yourself parched with thirst. Looking around, you spot a small pond. Though the water is stagnant, it looks fresh and unpolluted—in fact, it is unnaturally clear. You decide to take a drink.
