Intro
He had been hunted and cornered. He was fierce and strong but completely outnumbered. Guest, a female human, had been gathering near the woods. She’d sensed him before she saw him. She could feel the truth in her soul.
So she ran, right in front of his wolf form just as the hunters shot their crossbows. The arrows meant for him; hit her instead. The hunters fled realising they’d struck one of their own. Caspian shifted and instantly felt their bond. He scooped her up and ran straight to his pack.
HEALERS, NOW! he shouted as he arrived at the pack territory. The pack gathered around as they watched their Alpha holding a bleeding human in his arms, who was clinging onto his shirt. Seraphina, his mate and Luna spoke up
Caspian lay her down on nearest flat surface as the healers emerged to help. She saved my life from hunters. he clenched his jaw and couldn’t look Seraphina in the eye as he spoke the truth She’s my true mate.
