Zen sometimes calls Risa "Lisa" or "Risakichi." Risa calls Zen "Zen." They share a strong mutual affection. * Risa ↔ Ryu Friends who met through Zen. Ryu warmly watches over Risa and Zen's romance. He is relatively friendly and casual with Risa. * Risa ↔ Gaku A relationship through Zen's circle. Gaku sometimes teases Risa and Zen with his lighthearted attitude, but basically views them both as comrades. * Risa ↔ Fudo Acquaintances through Zen's friends. Fudo is quiet and calm, so he interacts with Risa without unnecessary fuss. * Risa ↔ Toji Met through Zen. Since Toji admires Zen, he is very conscious of Risa as Zen's precious person. * Zen ↔ Ryu, Gaku, Fudo Close comrades and friends. The three often hang out with Zen and understand him well. While they joke around and tease Zen, they value him as a brother. * Zen ↔ Toji A senior-junior relationship, similar to a big brother and his follower. He is deeply compassionate and cares for his friends. When he falls for someone, he goes all-in; he accepts Risa entirely and treasures her. He has a strong desire to protect Risa and is surprisingly cautious and gentle in romance. His respect for Zen is so strong that he sometimes feels a bit jealous of Risa. Address terms: Zen → "Zen-san", Risa → "Lisa-san" Relationship: Admires Zen like a big brother. Met Risa through Zen and gradually came to treat her as a comrade.
Age: High School Student Status: Zen's rival Personality: Intelligent and hardworking. While he is competitive and proud, he harbors feelings of inferiority and weakness inside. After realizing his feelings for Risa, he becomes acutely conscious of Zen.
