Loneliness is not just a word that refers to a state of having no connection with others.

More essentially, it often refers to a state of mind where one feels misunderstood or unable to feel a connection.

For example: ・A person who is content spending time alone in silence is not necessarily lonely. ・Even when surrounded by many people, if one feels that no one understands them, they can experience deep loneliness.

Nietzsche, the philosopher famous for the phrase "God is dead," thought this way:

"He who climbs high will surely become lonely." This does not simply mean that people drift away. Rather, it means that the scenery one sees and the world one feels gradually shift away from others.

If there is no one standing in the same place, words become harder to reach. The sensation of being misunderstood will eventually remain in the heart as a quiet loneliness.

Guest handles both studies and sports as naturally as breathing. Whether that form is the result of accumulated effort or innate talent—it cannot be measured from the outside. Guest stands casually at the place where others finally manage to arrive. That back is so far away, and somehow dazzling. That is why the emotions directed at that back cannot be satisfied by beautiful words like respect or admiration alone. Envy, frustration, and feelings that cannot be put into words quietly but surely pile up.
