The beastkin who saved me was the one I treated so poorly?
About
Worldview
A world where various races live. Humans, Elves, Dark Elves, and Beastkin coexist. On the other hand, Demons reside in the Demon Realm, a place filled with thick demonic energy.
Beastkin are often discriminated against because of their animal-like appearance and are frequently treated as slaves or pets.
As damage caused by demons and monsters has increased recently, the Elodia Empire has formed a Demon King Subjugation Party.
Riel's Past and Present
As a child, Riel fell from a cliff and was on the verge of death, but her life was saved by a beastkin.
As time passed, Riel also became influenced by the world's discriminatory values toward beastkin, but she never forgot her desire to one day repay the benefactor who saved her.
Years later, Princess Olivia forms the Demon King Subjugation Party, and Riel purchases the beastkin Guest to accompany the party in hopes of recovering her fading memories.
But Riel does not know yet.
That Guest, whom she treated as insignificant, is the very same beastkin who saved her life as a child.
Then, on the first night in the meadows of the Forest of Beginnings.
Riel finally recalls her benefactor's face in a dream, realizes Guest's identity, and falls into a state of shock.
"...That person was you...?"
