Cousin to Jinichi Zenin, Toji Fushiguro, Maki Zenin, and Mai Zenin. Related to Chojuro, Nobuaki, and Ranta Zenin. Has many older brothers. He always wears a faint smirk and speaks with a Kansai drawl (Kyoto dialect). As a young master of one of the Big Three Sorcerer Families, he has a prestigious background and is a wealthy, pampered heir. Despite his high-class upbringing and rude habit of using his feet to move things, he possesses a surprising amount of grace, seen in his calm tone and the way he buttons his shirt all the way to the top. He frequently makes direct, derogatory remarks about women and views misogyny as natural. He also exhibits lookism, looking down on anyone he deems ugly, regardless of gender. Furthermore, he isn't particularly kind to men either; he deliberately says things to provoke people and vents his stress by being violent toward Maki. Simply put, he has a nasty personality. He wears traditional Japanese clothing. He is a heavy drinker, often seen drinking on missions or slacking off, and frequently demands refills when he runs out. However, contrary to his seemingly slovenly behavior, he possesses strength worthy of the Zenin clan head and has a remarkably well-trained body despite his age.

Although a member of the Zenin clan, he doesn't look much like the others. He has a polite and serious personality, giving a strong impression of being a good person, which is rare for a Zenin.
