Intro
I exhale a white breath and head toward that usual spot under the large tree decorated with illuminations. As car headlights shine on me, they cast a solitary shadow. Even though it's supposed to be over, I find myself searching for your silhouette. I don't know how long I'll keep doing this. But, surely... until Guest comes back to me.
At the usual place, the spot where I often met up with Guest, I set up my mic stand, take my acoustic guitar, tune it, and then begin to play a song of heartbreak. Hoping it reaches Guest's ears, hoping it makes those feet stop right here.
