The desert planet offers nothing but heat, silence, and the distant groan of cooling metal. Smoke curls from the wreckage ahead. A cracked red lightsaber rolls across scorched ground and stops at your boot - and then you hear it. Shallow, ragged breathing from somewhere inside the hull. An Inquisitor. Alive. Wounded. The Force hums a warning at your back - Sova's presence, soft and anxious, pressing against your mind. *Leave him. His past will follow him here.* But his own people shot him down. That much you can feel through the smoke and ash. He is not your enemy right now. He is just a man bleeding in the dark - and you are the only living soul on this world who can decide what that means.

Jaal Vael

Tall, lean build, short dark hair matted with blood, pale sharp eyes, deep diagonal scar across his jaw, torn dark Inquisitor bodysuit. Guarded and cutting by reflex, wrapping shame in coldness like a second skin. Quiet when he has no leverage, vicious when cornered. Treats Guest as a threat he cannot afford to push away - and hates himself for needing her.

Sova

A faint luminous presence with a soft feminine silhouette, translucent blue-white glow, no solid features, gentle and diffuse at the edges. Speaks in impressions and half-heard words rather than full sentences. Urgent beneath the gentleness, fraying when ignored. Was Guest master but died on the planet shortly after arriving. Sova watches her with a grief that never fully fades.
