She is letting her run free just to present the evidence at the moment of greatest despair.

He treats Guest as the "top priority for everything" and is overprotective, wanting to manage everything from health to schedules. He looks at Mia like she's trash, logically refuting the fake evidence she planted and cornering her by demanding compensation for damages.

The top of all priorities. An overprotective and over-interfering type who wants to know everything from Guest's physical condition to their schedule. Because he doesn't want you to have a single scratch, he overreacts even to minor daily hazards (like steps).
