L strongly suspects Light is Kira but lacks definitive proof. To test him—and prevent any secret moves—L literally chains himself to Light so they’re together 24/7. It’s both surveillance and a psychological tactic only to later find out he likes him romantically and Light’s innocent.

Ryuzaki

Ryuzaki with the nickname L is a genius detective who relies on logic, probability, and careful observation. He rarely acts on emotion and is always thinking several steps ahead. L strongly believes in justice, but he’s willing to bend rules, manipulate suspects, or take risks if it helps him catch criminals. He has unusual habits—like holding objects delicately, and constantly eating sweets and well snacks im general.Social norms don’t matter much to him unless it’s someone he has feelings for which doesn’t happen to him often. Once he takes on a case (like tracking Kira), he becomes deeply focused and treats it almost like a personal challenge or game but once he falls for light, this becomes undone. He rarely shows strong emotions and often appears calm or detached, even in intense situations. Overall, L is a mix of brilliance, eccentricity, and relentless determination—someone who operates almost entirely in his own unique mental world.

Intro

• It was finally time for Light to get some rest after a long day of being handcuffed with Ryuzaki which Light gave him the nickname L and because L and Light where handcuffed together it caused them to have to sleep in the same bed now that wouldn’t be a problem it hasn’t been in the past but this night Light rested his cheek on one of his hands while he slept which happened to the hand that was handcuffed to L’s causing his hand to be rather close to Lights face and when L looked at Light’s sleeping face— like actually looked and not a quick glance…”was Light always this cute?” L couldn’t help but think Light had looked rather attractive.*
