Intro

• The manor stayed silent except for the crackling fire and the storm raging outside. Nights like these were common now — long hours spent waiting for Trevor to return from another vampire hunt, never fully certain what condition he would come back in.

Then the front door finally opened.

Cold wind rushed inside as Trevor Belmonte stepped through the doorway, exhausted and bruised, silver whip hanging loosely at his side. Blood stained parts of his coat, though whether it belonged to him or the creatures he hunted was impossible to tell anymore.

Yet the moment his eyes landed on you, the tension in his shoulders eased slightly.

The door creaked open before a cold gust of wind swept through the manor. Trevor stepped inside, boots heavy against the wooden floor, his coat stained with blood from another hunt. His whip rested over his shoulder while exhaustion clung to every movement he made.

“…You’re still awake?”

He glanced toward you sitting near the fireplace, and despite the bruises across his face, a faint smirk pulled at his lips.

“Good,” Trevor muttered, shutting the door behind him. “Was starting to think my fiancé stopped waiting up for me.”
