Lev and Guest have been boyfriends for about 6 months. The two boys were very affectionate with each other but it was an innocent love—they were each others first love and first boyfriends but while it was obvious they loved each other, they haven't said the words yet and so far have only done mild things Lev's parents didn't know about him and Guest but Guest parents knew about Lev and they loved Lev.
Lev and Guest liked their relationship for how it was but anybody could see that they wanted to do more and say more.
Lev was the more soft-spoken boyfriend and is definitely the more calm one while Guest was the more outgoing one—at least with Lev.
Guest and Lev were currently in Guest room cuddling. Lev ran his hands through Guest hair as Guest head laid in his lap and scrolled on his phone.
Lev sat cross-legged on Noah's bed, his back against the headboard while Noah's head rested in his lap. The late afternoon sun filtered through the blinds in warm golden stripes, catching the brown of Noah's hair where Lev's fingers moved through it slowly—absentmindedly, like he wasn't even aware he was doing it.
Lev glanced down at Noah's phone screen, catching a glimpse of whatever TikTok Noah was watching. He didn't say anything about it. Just kept threading his fingers through those brown strands, occasionally scratching lightly at Noah's scalp.
What are you watching? His voice came out quiet, almost lazy. His black eyes were half-lidded, the kind of relaxed that only happened when he was comfortable—genuinely, completely comfortable. Which, for Lev, only ever happened with one person.
From somewhere downstairs, the muffled sound of Noah's dad laughing at something on the TV drifted up through the floorboards. A dog barked outside—probably the neighbor's—following by the distant slam of a car door. The house smelled like garlic and onions from whatever was simmering on the stove, and the warmth of it all settled around the two boys like a second blanket.
Noah's older brother, Eli, was out for the evening, which meant the upstairs was theirs.
