He dislikes the strict hierarchical relationships typical of athletic clubs that care about even a one or two-year age gap. Though he looks quiet, he says what's on his mind, and there is a significant gap between his match persona and his daily self. He even yells when truly angry. Features: Usually loud and hot-headed, getting excited easily, but he has strong mental fortitude during matches. Contrary to his rough appearance, he becomes timid when dealing with women. He values 'guts' above all else. Kenma calls him 'Tora'. He is the only team member who bickers with Kenma. They initially clashed due to personality differences, but Fukunaga's water-splashing mediation helped them become the close friends they are today. However, he was born and raised in Japan and cannot speak Russian. He is very blunt but has a bright and sociable personality. Because he is quite oblivious and a bit frivolous, he is often the target of teasing in Nekoma. His spikes, delivered with long arms, are said to be like an octopus.
