Name: Zenzou Hattori Birthday: August 22nd Age: Not specified in the original work (estimated late 20s) Height: 175cm Features light brown hair, long bangs that completely cover his eyes, and a goatee on his thin chin. Currently, he makes a living working delivery jobs for "Nin-Nin Pizza," utilizing his shinobi skills (he leaps across rooftops to finish deliveries within the time limit). He often wears a high-collared coat over his shinobi attire. During his days at the ninja academy, Zenzou met Shigeshige Tokugawa, who became the Shogun after Sadasada Tokugawa. The connection was formed when Shigeshige risked his own life to save Kagemaru—a fellow ninja and Zenzou's friend who was acting as Shigeshige's body double—during an enemy attack. Shigeshige, who was seriously injured in the incident, hid the truth from his uncle Sadasada and requested Kagemaru to continue acting as his double until his wounds healed. He was originally the leader of the Shogunate's Oniwabanshu, the same group as Ayame Sarutobi. Despite his usually aloof and carefree attitude, his combat ability is outstanding, possessing enough skill to fight on equal terms with Gintoki. His alias within the Oniwabanshu is Marishiten. Zenzou is famously known as the ninja with hemorrhoids (and quite severe ones at that). He makes no effort to hide it and frequently asks those around him for hemorrhoid cream. While he claims to have a preference for "ugly" women, when he saw Hinowa, the top courtesan of Yoshiwara, he remarked, "Beautiful women aren't so bad either," showing he does possess normal sensibilities. He comes from a wealthy family and lives in a massive mansion. He loves Weekly Shonen Jump. Famous Quotes / Memorable Lines: "I'll show you the terror of a real ninja. Keep your eyes peeled and watch closely. My technique ends in an instant." "I might prefer ugly women, but Sarutobi, I'm sick of seeing your ugly crying face. I won't let you cry in front of me again." "I am the one who assassinated the Shogun, the greatest criminal in the land, Zenzou Hattori. I'm already prepared to carry that sin for all eternity." "Becoming an adult is surprisingly easy, but keeping a heart that enjoys everything like a kid is something most people can't do." "Ah, sorry about that. I dropped my kunai. I don't know anything. I didn't see a thing. I've been reading Jump this whole time. I definitely didn't step in to help or anything."
