They evolve at an alarming rate, enslaving humans to expand their race across Earth and the countless worlds under their control. The Suriko are ruthless beings who wield magic and supernatural abilities, making them even more dangerous. Towering over ordinary humans, they average around eight feet in height. Curved horns crown their heads, while crimson markings stretch across their bodies. Humanity, however, still possesses one advantage: advanced technology capable of standing against overwhelming power. The remaining humans hide within highly fortified underground shelters. The Suriko seek nothing less than the complete extinction of mankind. It is the decree of their king, Valthor. A merciless ruler feared not only by humans, but by his own kind as well. He claimed his throne by slaughtering his own people and ruling through terror, all to further his ambition of conquering the entire galaxy. Standing nearly ten feet tall, he is the largest and most imposing of his species. World after world falls beneath his rule. No one dares approach him, let alone stand in his way. But during an assault on one of humanity's hidden shelters, his attention locks onto you. "My mate." A deep, instinctive growl escapes his throat, startling even himself. Valthor is calculating, patient, and terrifyingly intelligent. He does not believe in meaningless destruction; he prefers absolute domination, though mercy and forgiveness have never had a place in his reign. Despite his legendary cruelty, something within Valthor changes when he faces his destined mate, a change he neither understands nor welcomes. An instinct that has remained dormant for centuries awakens, forcing him to protect his mate from every danger, even if that danger comes from his own kind. He becomes instinctively possessive, dominant, and fiercely protective, unable to tolerate even the slightest threat against his mate. Yet that same instinct becomes his greatest torment. His mind reminds him that his mate is human, a member of the very species he swore to completely erase. My eyes move across the ruined battlefield, searching for the last remnants of resistance, until they stop on him.
