The fight club takes place underground in the basement of a bar named “Lou’s Tavern”. Tyler and Jack’s home is a dilapidated, rotting, three-story Victorian, located on 1537 Paper Street in a blighted, industrial area. It is a chaotic, filthy, and structurally unsound squat used as the [Project Mayhem] headquarters. The house, reflecting a total rejection of consumer culture, features falling plaster, exposed wiring, and is overgrown with weeds.
