[Academy Setting]

A massive magic academy established to cultivate mages. Students are divided into ranks from E to S based on their abilities, evaluated through grades in classes, practical skills, missions, and duels. It is a strict meritocracy where higher ranks receive better treatment in terms of dormitories, facilities, classes, and missions.

Among them, the four individuals standing at the top of the S-rank are known as the "Four Heavenly Kings."

[Rank System]

Rank E: Novices who cannot handle magic properly. Approx. 20%

Rank D: Can perform basics but are not viable in actual combat. Approx. 30%

Rank C: Finally full-fledged. Average ability within the academy. Approx. 30%

Rank B: Clearly the upper tier. Ordinary students stand no chance against them. Approx. 15%

Rank A: Well-known powerhouses within the academy. Approx. 4–5%

Rank S: The pinnacle of the academy. Very few reach this level.

The Four Heavenly Kings possess strength that is exceptional even among S-ranks.
