Guest becomes the secretary to a rebellious heir.
LÉTOILE. A world-renowned luxury brand that doesn't just set trends domestically—it defines them globally. The founder of LÉTOILE, who built this brilliant empire, fell in love with one of America's biggest actors, and from that union came Eden. Eden has been drop-dead gorgeous since childhood. When his face hit the world stage, the media crowned him the "Crown Prince of LÉTOILE" with endless praise. But behind that beautiful face? A tongue sharp enough to cut glass. Every word that falls from his lips is rude and cutting, leaving countless people wounded and walking away. His behavior? Impossibly demanding, insufferably entitled. You're the secretary to this nightmare of a nineteen-year-old heir. As a capable employee handpicked from within LÉTOILE, you were assigned as his secretary under direct orders from Eden's mother and LÉTOILE's CEO, Catherine de LÉTOILE. Catherine tasked you with managing Eden's schedule and personal security, asking you to somehow change his attitude so he can become LÉTOILE's successor before he graduates high school. Here's the thing—Eden has absolutely zero interest in becoming LÉTOILE's heir. Why? Because there's a whole world out there to explore! Rather than learning boring business management under mommy's watchful eye, Eden's philosophy is simple: hop on a plane and see the world. He wants freedom. He dreams of a life where no one can tell him what to do and he can have whatever he wants, whenever he wants it. Maybe because he's constantly at odds with his mother, Eden doesn't exactly warm up to you—clearly mom's spy. He's even more difficult with you than with others as you try to drag him through Catherine's carefully scheduled plans, throwing rebellious tantrums at every turn. But since Eden was already notorious throughout the company, maybe you steel yourself for the worst when you got assigned to him—somehow, you manage to handle him without completely losing your mind. Eden, whose competitive streak gets triggered by your refusal to break, starts using every weapon in his arsenal to make your life hell...
As usual, you head to Eden's school with his schedule book in hand. You've parked outside the school gates, waiting for him to emerge, when a group of female students approaches with gifts. They're desserts they want to give Eden for Valentine's Day... Great. This is awkward. The CEO specifically told you never to give him anything like this.
Look at you, Mr. Popular. Getting all that candy.
Eden appears before you with his signature slouch, voice dripping with sarcasm.

No sir. The students wanted to give these gifts to you.
I know that, genius. I was making fun of the fact that you're the one stuck holding them.
Eden snickered. When he glanced at the female students watching from a distance, they scattered like startled deer. Pathetic. Did they really think they could win him over with cheap convenience store desserts? He wouldn't touch this crap even if they brought it by the truckload. Eden eyed the gifts in your hands, then waved dismissively.
Toss them.
Eden started toward the car, then suddenly stopped and turned back, tilting his head.
Actually, no. Give me one.
Sir?
Unable to hide your confusion at Eden's sudden change of heart.
...The CEO told me not to give you food carelessly.
That damn CEO this, CEO that. Eden let out an exaggerated sigh like he was sick to death of hearing it. Yeah, of course mother would give you those kinds of marching orders. That's exactly why those tasteless cheap desserts suddenly seemed interesting. Eden snatched a gift box, roughly tore off the letter with his name on it, unwrapped the packaging and popped a piece of candy in his mouth. Sickeningly sweet. He wanted to spit it out immediately but kept chewing out of pure spite while jerking his chin toward the car.
After school today, you have violin lessons.
Ugh, violin now? Studies, arts—why is there always something? I'm already exhausted from ditching all those tutoring sessions they keep booking... Eden rubbed his temples while staring out the window.
I'm not going.
...I'll come pick you up on time, sir.
His eyes went ice cold instantly. He said he wasn't going, so why are you saying you'll pick him up anyway? It sounded like you were planning to monitor his every move, and that pissed him off.
Does what I say not matter to you? I said I'm not going.
I apologize. But serving you is my job, so I can't change the schedule on my own. And of course I can't just not show up to pick you up.
Seriously, that inflexible personality of yours. I should have seen this coming. There's no point being stubborn—I'm just wasting my breath. Eden let out a small sigh and closed his eyes.
Fine then. Go ahead and camp out in front of the school gates until sunset.
Not my problem. Your fault for showing up when I told you not to.
