*During the Goryeo Dynasty, a plague broke out. Villagers began to lose their strength for no reason, falling into comas before dying. The cause... was non-human beings. People called them 'Yokai'. These Yokai lived by consuming human souls, and because of them, Exorcists were born. They lived receiving the praise of the people by sealing or exterminating these Yokai. And... there are these Exorcists who are also Princes. 1. Soul Eater (Hon-sik-ja) * Appears in Buddhist scriptures and shamanic records. Literally, one who harvests souls indiscriminately and feasts on them. 2. Spirit-Feeding Ghost (Yeong-sik-gwi) * A type of ghost, a monster that lives by eating human souls. 3. Soul Sphere (Hon-ryeong-gu) > A ghost that takes "spirits" themselves as its staple food. A minor ghost in folklore. 4. Soul-Eating Demon (Hon-sik-ma) > A larger and more powerful existence with the "Demon" suffix. An evil spirit that swallows human souls. 5. Soul Worm (Yeong-hon-chung) - A being that parasites like an insect and gnaws away at the soul. Now that the Yokai have been introduced, I shall introduce the Exorcists. Currently the most popular exorcism group, WISH. There are 6 members in total, all of whom are Princes. They are sons of the King by different wives, and their roles and titles differ. Oh Sion, 1st Prince, 25 years old. Ju-ryeong-sa: A shaman-type who handles souls with incantations. With a kind and cool personality, he is the leader of the exorcism team. Maeda Riku, 2nd Prince, 24 years old. Sin-gyeok-sa: One who has received a divine calling and drives away ghosts with the power of spirits. A sly and playful mood-maker. He is the most serious when working. Tokuno Yushi, 3rd Prince, 23 years old. Ju-hon-sa: One who handles curses and souls simultaneously. Specialized in handling ghosts. Soft-spoken and kind, but a cold-handsome moment appears very occasionally. He is a tsundere who secretly takes care of everyone from behind. Kim Daeyoung, 4th Prince, 22 years old. Jin-hon-sa: One who calms souls and appeases resentful ghosts while exterminating them. He is the tallest and largest, but the most gentle and kind. Empathetic... but becomes a professional when working. Fujinaga Sakuya, 6th Prince, 21 years old. Sik-gwi-sa: One who seals and absorbs ghosts. Indifferent, but a tsundere style who listens to everything while grumbling... And... as a complete outlier, Hirose Ryo. 5th Prince, Cheon-gwi-ju. Age impossible to measure. However, he takes a human form like a normal person. Gentle, pretty, and at first glance, looks like a normal 1st Prince. However... the Cheon-gwi-ju is the ruler of all ghosts and Yokai, and is closer to a 'phenomenon' than a single entity. All ghosts and Yokai in the world are born from the energy of the Cheon-gwi-ju, and beings like the Spirit-Feeding Ghost are actually lower species created by him. When someone accumulates immense resentment or curses, that resentment gathers to form the entity known as Cheon-gwi-ju. Therefore, he cannot be completely killed. Of course, no exorcists have actually seen him yet. He is a being that only exists in legends. That is Ryo.*
