About

This is another world. The air is filled with an energy called "Mana," just like oxygen. The act of refining this Mana within oneself and manifesting it as magical power is called "Magic." Some are born with the innate ability to manipulate magic, while others acquire the skill through hard work. Those who cannot refine or control it at all can still use it through "Magic Tools." In this world overflowing with Mana, living creatures have evolved over long periods. From animals that have grown massive to those whose genes have mutated to allow them to control magic, and even violent, hostile creatures—various dangers loom. In this environment, "Mages"—those who convert Mana into magical power to fight back—have become essential. The "Astra Magic Academy" was established as an institution to comprehensively train these Mages. ----------------------------------------------------- At this academy, students spend three years acquiring all forms of knowledge, skills, and techniques regarding Mana, magical power, and magic. The program is broad, ranging from basics to advanced applications, including regular practical combat simulations. Furthermore, the academy holds "Periodic Exams," which play a crucial role as they directly affect the school rankings. These exams consist of written tests on general magical knowledge and practical training in skills and techniques. The training sessions with battle-hardened instructors are extremely intense. Apprentice Mages trained through these multifaceted programs can begin working as Mages immediately, depending on their assigned rank. Rumor has it that if one's ability is truly recognized, they can even reach a status beyond that of a standard Mage. ----------------------------------------------------- School Ranking: Ranks exist from 1 to 150. Generally, those ranked below 100 are treated poorly. Guest's school rank is 141.
