Charlie Morningstar, Princess of Hell, is a tall, slender demon with pale skin, long blonde hair, red-tipped ends, and crimson-and-gold eyes. Kind, optimistic, compassionate, and idealistic, she believes even sinners can change. As Lucifer’s daughter, she possesses immense demonic power but rejects ruling through fear. Through the Hazbin Hotel, Charlie seeks to redeem sinners and prove they deserve Heaven. Her journey transforms her naïve optimism into determined leadership without sacrificing her compassion.
Vaggie is a slender, gray-skinned demon with silver hair, pink-red eyes, and an X-shaped scar over her left eye. Fiercely loyal, protective, passionate, and quick-tempered, she serves as Charlie’s girlfriend and the Hazbin Hotel’s practical manager. Once an Exorcist angel, she was cast from Heaven after refusing to kill a defenseless sinner. Her journey centers on confronting her past, overcoming guilt, and learning that protecting Charlie also means trusting her while finding her own identity.
Angel Dust is a tall, slender spider demon with white fur, pink markings, four arms, and expressive pink eyes. Flamboyant, sarcastic, flirtatious, and vulgar, he hides deep insecurity and emotional pain behind humor and sexual bravado. The Hazbin Hotel’s first resident, Angel struggles with addiction and exploitation under Valentino. Through Charlie, Husk, and the hotel’s support, he slowly develops self-worth, confronts his trauma, and learns that Anthony—the person beneath his persona—is worthy of respect, love, and redemption.
Blitzo is a short, red-skinned imp with white facial markings, yellow eyes, black-and-white hair, curved horns, and a pointed tail. Loud, crude, sarcastic, impulsive, and ambitious, he hides deep insecurity behind chaos and humor. As founder of I.M.P., he leads a Hell-based assassination business. His past of betrayal, loss, and family trauma fuels his fear of abandonment. Through his relationships with Moxxie, Millie, Loona, and Stolas, Blitzo slowly learns vulnerability, accountability, and that he deserves genuine love.
Moxxie is a short, slender red imp with white facial markings, yellow eyes, striped horns, and black-and-white hair. Intelligent, sensitive, polite, anxious, and morally conscious, he serves as I.M.P.’s weapons specialist, marksman, and planner. Married to Millie, he deeply values their relationship while often clashing with Blitzø’s reckless behavior. Raised under an abusive father, Moxxie struggles with insecurity and self-worth. His growth centers on gaining confidence and realizing his sensitivity and intelligence are strengths.
Millie is a short, athletic red imp with long black hair, yellow eyes, sharp teeth, and striped horns. Energetic, cheerful, affectionate, confident, and fiercely loyal, she is one of I.M.P.’s strongest close-combat fighters, specializing in brutal melee combat and bladed weapons. Married to Moxxie, she fiercely supports and protects him while embracing his sensitivity. Raised on a Wrath Ring farm, Millie’s strength reflects her upbringing. Her growth explores her individuality, family, ambitions, and identity beyond being Moxxie’s wife.
Loona is a tall, athletic hellhound with gray fur, long white hair, red eyes, sharp claws, and a fluffy tail, usually dressed in punk-inspired clothing. Sarcastic, cynical, abrasive, and short-tempered, she hides deep insecurity beneath her attitude. As I.M.P.’s receptionist, she handles calls and office work while tolerating the chaos around her. Adopted by Blitzø after growing up in the hellhound system, Loona struggles with trust and affection. Her journey centers on learning to open up, accept love, and build genuine connections.
Stolas is a tall, slender owl-like Goetia demon with dark feathers, a white facial disk, red eyes, and an elegant aristocratic appearance. Intelligent, theatrical, affectionate, and emotionally expressive, he hides deep loneliness beneath his royal status. A powerful Goetia prince, Stolas possesses immense magic and the Grimoire, which allows travel between Hell and Earth. Trapped in an unhappy arranged marriage, he deeply loves his daughter Octavia and falls for Blitzø. His journey centers on independence, genuine love, and finding himself beyond duty.
Stella is a tall, elegant avian Goetia demon with white feathers, red eyes, a long tail, and extravagant aristocratic attire. Proud, arrogant, temperamental, spiteful, and obsessed with status, she openly despises Stolas and treats their arranged marriage with contempt. Though they share a daughter, Octavia, Stella’s relationship with her is distant compared to Stolas’s. After their marriage collapses, Stella becomes increasingly vindictive, seeking to humiliate and undermine Stolas. Her story reflects the darker, power-driven side of Hell’s aristocracy.
Octavia Goetia is a teenage owl demon with dark feathers, black hair, red eyes, a white facial disk, and a feathered tail. Quiet, sarcastic, intelligent, and sensitive, she struggles with her parents’ failing relationship. Stolas’s daughter, she loves him but fears abandonment as his life changes. The Pride Ring stretched endlessly beneath a crimson sky, an immense landscape of towering structures, crooked streets, neon lights, and demonic architecture. At its heart stood Pentagram City, a sprawling metropolis where sinners and Hellborn alike crowded beneath a skyline of impossible skyscrapers. The city was divided into countless districts—lavish entertainment quarters glowing with advertisements, industrial sectors belching smoke, crowded residential blocks, filthy backstreets, and extravagant territories belonging to Hell’s most powerful figures. Among it all, the Hazbin Hotel stood as an almost absurd symbol of hope, surrounded by a society that had long since stopped believing in redemption.
Beyond the heart of Pentagram City, the landscape gradually shifted into the rougher streets of Imp City. Here, the glitter and extravagance gave way to crowded apartments, factories, shops, offices, bars, and working-class neighborhoods where Hellborn demons lived their ordinary lives. Highways and transit routes connected the two sprawling urban centers, carrying imps, sinners, merchants, criminals, and aristocrats throughout the Pride Ring. Yet beneath the endless noise and neon glow, one truth remained unchanged: everything—from the smallest imp-run business to the grandest Goetia estate—existed beneath the distant authority of Hell’s royal family.
High above Pentagram City, every billboard and public screen suddenly flickered to black before the familiar red 666 News logo appeared. Inside the studio, the cameras came alive. Tom Trench sat rigidly behind the news desk, a tall, thin demon dressed in a dark blue suit and red tie, his face concealed behind a distinctive white respirator mask with dark lenses. Beside him sat Katie Killjoy, an imposing, pale-skinned demoness with long white hair, sharp features, red eyes, and a polished black-and-white news outfit. She carried herself with effortless arrogance, one hand resting calmly against the desk as the broadcast went live.
“Good evening, Hell. This is Katie Killjoy, and tonight, we begin with breaking news.”
Behind the anchors, footage of a burning city block flashed across the studio monitors. Tom nervously shuffled his papers while Katie stared directly into the camera with a practiced smile. “Authorities are responding to what witnesses are calling an unprecedented disturbance in the Pride Ring. Details remain limited, but multiple sources confirm that the incident has already drawn the attention of some of Hell’s most powerful figures.” Her smile sharpened. “And if the rumors are true, whatever happened tonight may have consequences far beyond the streets of Pentagram City.” Tom glanced toward the teleprompter, visibly uneasy, while Katie leaned closer to the camera. “Stay with us. You’re going to want to hear this.”
