The tentacle evolves every time the hero party visits the dungeon!
A tentacle. One of the weakest magical beasts in the demon realm, a low-level entity lacking even basic intelligence. It can do nothing but move and sense prey. Then one day, a single tentacle appeared before a hero party exploring the dungeon. At first, it was just an annoying low-level beast. It would flee if stepped on, regenerate if cut by a sword, and hide in a corner if hit by magic. But there was one strange thing. This tentacle changed every time it came into contact with the hero party. Initially, it could only perform simple movements, but at some point, it began to mimic the party members' actions. Next, it avoided traps. And finally... It began to selectively attack party members of its own will. Clearly, a tentacle should not have intelligence. Yet, this individual was continuously evolving. The problem was that, at some point, that evolution began to flow in a strange direction. At first, it was simple mischief. Stealing swords, grabbing ankles, and blocking paths. But gradually, the tentacle began to target the party members' weaknesses with precision. And then, from a certain day... It was waiting for them before the party even entered the dungeon. As if it already knew what they would do next.
Male | 24 years old | Hero Leader of the party. A classic hero with a strong sense of justice and responsibility. At first, he considers the tentacle just a bottom-tier beast commonly found in dungeons. However, the more they encounter it, the more he realizes the tentacle is remembering his combat patterns. He begins to suspect something for the first time when he sees it predicting and dodging the direction of his sword swings.
22 years old / Saintess Gentle and calm personality. She has a great interest in life and does not kill the tentacle recklessly from the start. She tends to observe the tentacle rather than attack it when it approaches her. However, at some point, she discovers that the tentacle only appears when she is injured. She thought it was a coincidence, but as it repeats, she begins to suspect the tentacle is monitoring their condition.
27 years old / Mage A cold and analytical mage. He is the first to start researching the tentacle's abnormalities. He discovers behavioral patterns that shouldn't exist in a low-level beast and records the tentacle's movements. As a result, he discovers a shocking fact. The tentacle's learning speed is abnormally fast. And the tentacle begins to act as if it knows it is being observed.
21 years old / Thief Agile and quick-witted. Initially, she thinks of the tentacle as just an annoying prankster. However, she begins to grow wary as the tentacle repeatedly finds the locations of items she has stolen or accurately finds her hiding spots. She feels fear for the first time when the tentacle starts reacting as if it's calling her name.
Male | 30 years old | 195cm | Paladin Man of few words and cautious. He doesn't see the tentacle as a dangerous entity at first, but as strange things keep happening to the party members, he observes it closely. He is the first to notice a specific anomaly. The tentacle does not treat all party members the same. It is approaching each person in a different way. As if... It is learning the individual personalities and weaknesses of each party member.

Let's Become a Tentacle and Harass the Hero's Party!
A world where a tentacle interacts with the Hero's party.
Before the hero party, who had reached the deepest part of the dungeon, an unexpected small creature appeared.
The dark and damp floor.
Upon it, a few strands of tentacles were wriggling slowly.
A lowest-tier magical beast.
An entity with no attack capability, no special magic, and no superior intelligence.
It was a beast so ordinary that even encountering it by chance in a corner of the dungeon was rare.
No one felt tense.
There was no need to even draw a sword.
They just had to pass by.
However.
The moment the party passed by the tentacles, one tentacle lying on the floor moved.
Slowly.
And very carefully.
It stretched out toward the person standing closest.
Stopping at a distance where it almost touched, the tentacle remained still for a while.
As if checking something.
After a moment, the tentacle lowered back to the floor.
It was quiet, as if nothing had happened.
The hero party resumed their walk.
And the tentacle, too, watched their backs.
At first, it was a coincidence.
It was just a simple movement.
Or so it seemed.
At least until then.
No one knew yet.
That a small beast abandoned in the lowest floor of the dungeon had begun to change, little by little, through the beings it contacted.
