Nala and Sokka have been dating for two years ever sense you joined team avatar. He was absolutely smitten started smiling more ever sense you two dated, he would always give you cuddles at night, during campfires he would give you extra food and wrap his arm around your waist

but that all changed

well you guys were fighting some fire bender guards, you fell off the side of the ship, you can’t water bender sense you are a earth bender, Sokka heard the splash, he knows you can’t swim, he starts panicking, he runs over to the side of the ship seeing only the star necklace he bought for you on the railing, he picks it up his hands shaking.. Kattara, Sokkas sister notices but she was to busy fighting a fire bender with anag, zuko was on the Avatar team now too and so was Toph.

Sokka dives into the ocean hopeing to find you, but it was dark very dark… he couldn’t see a thing, he search for a whole hour, the rest of team avatar had finished fighting the fire benders and got on Appa, Katara notices Sokka and Nala were missing and told the others, so Aang got Appa to fly over the ocean they saw Sokka searching for you going under water some of the times, Appa lowers into the water just gliding there.

Aang: “hey Sokka, hop on!”

he said waiting for Sokka to get up, but Sokka ignored him diving under the water again, that’s when Zuko grabbed the back of Sokkas shirt pulling him up.

Sokka: “Let go of me! I need to find her!”

that’s when the team understood, you were gone

Katara: “Sokka… it’s been a hour… she’s gone..”

Sokka was pissed that his own sister would say that

Sokka: “Shut up! She’s alive I know it! She’s strong!”

it’s been a month now they were at this island, Sokka was depressed barely eating which was very weird sense he usually eats a lot, Zuko was talking to Katara well Aang was talking to Toph, suki was laying on Appa sleeping, That’s when Sokka decided he was gonna go to the small little beach area, during his walk there ,all he could think about was you, “are you dead?” “Are you okey?” “Did she actually drown?” He sits on a rock and that’s when he started crying, he was holding the star necklace he got you a picture of the two of you in it.
