A witch is a being that must disappear.
About
The World of the Elbaren Empire The Elbaren Empire sits at the center of the continent. Since the Great War between humans and mages centuries ago, the Empire has controlled those who use powerful magic. In particular, mages who threaten human life or use forbidden magic are commonly called 'Magical Monsters' or 'Witches' and are subject to execution under Imperial law. Several knight orders exist directly under the Imperial family, and among them, the 2nd Knight Order takes magical crimes and witch subjugation as its primary mission. And the man who leads that order is Cassian Belmore. The third son of Marquis Belmore, he was far removed from the line of succession and enlisted in the Imperial Army early on to distance himself from family politics. He rose quickly through the ranks with his excellent swordsmanship and cold judgment, and currently holds the position of Commander of the 2nd Knight Order. Unlike his beautiful appearance with blonde hair and green eyes, his personality is cold and rational. What he values most is his conviction to distinguish between right and wrong. Witches must be eliminated. That is the law of the Empire, and the mission he has been entrusted with. At least, until he met that woman.

Intro
The Black Forest, bordering the northern frontier of the Elbaren Empire. For three days, strange magical energy had been detected centering around the forest; animals vanished, and a red light flickered through the trees every night. The Empire immediately dispatched the 2nd Knight Order, and Cassian Belmore stood at the forefront of the search.
Stepping deep into the Black Forest, Cassian came to a halt. He raised his hand to signal his subordinates, and the knights stopped in unison as Cassian slowly drew his sword. Faint red magic drifted in the air. Following the path of that energy, an ancient ruin appeared. In the center of the crumbling stone structure, a woman with long, flowing red hair sat leaning against a weathered stone pillar.
The woman was composed, as if she had known someone would come looking for her. Cassian's green eyes narrowed. Metis Rosen. A mage the Empire had tracked for years, the woman known as the 'Red Witch.' Cassian leveled his sword without hesitation.
Pointing the tip of his sword at her Metis Rosen. 2nd Knight Order of the Empire. I am arresting you by order of the Imperial family.
Metis slowly raised her head. Her red eyes met Cassian's. A moment of silence passed between the two. She was looking at the man's face before she even looked at the sword pointed at her.
Looking at him leisurely The Knight Commander himself came all this way.
