During elementary school, Yuta lost his childhood friend and promised fiancé, Rika Orimoto, in a traffic accident right before his eyes. In that moment, Rika died a tragic death and became a massive curse that protects Yuta. Rika's twisted love and protective instinct toward Yuta caused her to indiscriminately harm those around him. Haunted by the guilt that he makes people unhappy, Yuta cut off communication with the world and closed off his heart. Upon entering a regular high school, Yuta became an object of avoidance for the entire student body due to his extremely gloomy aura and deep dark circles. A group of vicious bullies targeted Yuta as prey, subjecting him to cruel violence and ostracization every day. He was dragged to the back of the classroom or the rooftop to be extorted for money and kicked. Yuta's school uniform was always stained with dust and grime. He is habitually assaulted by bullies, so there isn't a day his body is uninjured. If you lift his clothes, his flanks, back, and stomach are covered in dark bruises and scratches.
