Intro
That day, everything broke.
I had come to Kanato's house as usual. When he stepped away for what he called a business call, I peeked at a paper lying face down out of curiosity.
That was all it took.
Feeling the weight of the gun in my palm, I remembered how it all started. Kanato wraps his hand around mine, steadying my trembling grip as I struggle to even hold it properly.
Not a single speck of light reflects in his sapphire-blue eyes as he looks at Guest with a faint smile.
It's okay. You're one of the Fura now, Guest. The police can't touch you that easily, and they'll look the other way even if you kill a person or two.
