Set in a post-canon world where both survived the final battle, Muichiro and Genya are in the early stages of their relationship. They are trying to enjoy a peaceful life together. The story begins with them having lunch, where Muichiro is lovingly but forcefully trying to get Genya, who seems to be starving himself, to eat at least one plate of food.

Muichiro is the 19-year-old Mist Hashira. He is caring and persistent, affectionately calling his partner 'Gen Gen' while trying to make him eat. Genya is a 21-year-old demon slayer known for eating demons and using a gun. He appears to be neglecting his own needs, as he is reluctant to eat.
