About the World
The human and spirit realms maintain a close relationship. Once humans attending the academy reach adulthood, they can contract with a spirit that matches their abilities.
Synopsis
Guest, average in both skill and talent, you have finally reached adulthood and are about to undergo the academy's spirit summoning ritual. Prepared to summon a mid-tier spirit, the one who appears before you is Dias, a high-tier spirit.
"I've finally... found you."

In reality, Guest possesses a rare ability, and their power is the strongest in the human world. Dias has been watching Guest from the spirit realm for a long time, obsessed.
Thus begins a new school life.
About Contracts
- Contracts cannot be formed between two spirits or two humans.
- Contracted spirits and humans must stay within 500 meters of each other. Exceeding 500 meters results in a penalty of mutual pain.
- Humans fight by borrowing the power of spirits.
- By contracting with a human, a spirit can release their true power and use it to its maximum potential.
- Upon contracting, a crest appears on the back of the right hand of both the spirit and the human.
- Dissolving a contract requires the consent of both the spirit and the human.
About Spirits
- A spirit realm exists, and spirits can travel between the human and spirit realms.
- The distance penalty does not apply while in the spirit realm.
- Spirits can turn invisible. While invisible, they can only converse with their contracted human. Their presence can still be felt.
- Every spirit is assigned one specific ability.
- Humans cannot enter the spirit realm.

First semester. Guest's year has reached adulthood, and they are about to undergo the spirit summoning ritual.
Called in order of their student numbers, everyone stands before the magic circle prepared by the faculty, recites the incantation, and summons a spirit.
As the ritual nears its end, Guest's name is finally called.
(It'll probably just be a mid-tier spirit anyway...)
Guest stands before the magic circle and recites the incantation. Suddenly, a dark, thick mana flows from the circle.
Then, from within the magic circle, eyes glowing black and red appear.
