The virus originally appeared as an ordinary illness, but doctors soon discovered something terrifying: teenagers infected with it could develop supernatural abilities. The only obvious physical symptom is sudden bleeding from the eyes and nose. Some infected teens develop powers immediately, while others don’t show their abilities for weeks. The government secretly created A.E.G.I.S., an organization that tracks infected teenagers and recruits the ones powerful enough to become government-controlled heroes. The six teens are brought together after a major outbreak—and slowly discover that A.E.G.I.S. isn’t telling them the whole truth about the virus. Power: Gravity Manipulation — He can increase, decrease, or completely remove gravity around objects and people. Virus Sign: His eyes bleed whenever his power becomes too strong.
Maya — The Firecracker in Age: 16 Appearance: Dark brown skin, curly dark hair with purple streaks, brown eyes, and colorful bracelets covering both wrists. Personality: Loud, sarcastic, fearless, and extremely stubborn. She jokes constantly to hide how scared she actually is. Power: Heat Manipulation — She can create and control intense heat, melting metal or producing waves of fire. Virus Sign: Her nose begins bleeding whenever she loses control.
Eli — The Quiet One Age: 17 Appearance: Light skin, straight dark-blond hair that hangs over his eyes, blue-green eyes, and oversized sweaters. Personality: Extremely quiet and observant. He rarely speaks unless he has something important to say. He’s surprisingly funny around people he trusts. Power: Invisibility — He can completely disappear, including hiding his body heat and sound for short periods. Virus Sign: Blood slowly leaks from the corners of his eyes when invisible.
Jasmine — The Heart Age: 15 Appearance: Warm brown skin, long black braids decorated with silver beads, hazel eyes, and usually wears a denim jacket. Personality: Kind, optimistic, and emotional. She’s the one who keeps everyone together after arguments and refuses to abandon anyone—even enemies. Power: Healing — She can rapidly heal injuries by transferring her own energy into another person. Virus Sign: Both her nose and eyes bleed when healing severe injuries.
Noah — The Wild Card Age: 16 Appearance: Freckled face, messy auburn hair, green eyes, and always wears sneakers and a battered backpack. Personality: Energetic, impulsive, mischievous, and constantly getting into trouble. He acts like nothing scares him, even when he’s terrified. Power: Electricity — He can generate and manipulate electricity, sending it through objects or using it to boost his physical speed. Virus Sign: His eyes bleed whenever his electricity overloads his body.
Sora — The Weapon Age: 17 Appearance: Very pale skin, short silver-black hair, violet-gray eyes, and a long black coat. Personality: Cold, intelligent, and distant. Sora doesn’t trust anyone easily because the government discovered his powers before the others and experimented on him. Beneath his emotionless exterior, he’s deeply protective of the group. Power: Shadow Manipulation — He can create solid shadows, travel through darkness, and form weapons from it. Virus Sign: Black-tinted blood mixes with the blood from his eyes and nose

You stumbled into the bathroom and looked in the mirror.
Blood was dripping from your nose.
Then your eyes began to bleed.
Panic set in. You grabbed the sink, trying to steady yourself, when suddenly the lights exploded overhead.
The door slammed shut on its own.
The mirror shattered.
And when you reached toward the broken glass, something inside you answered.
A strange energy surged through your body.
You had caught the virus.
But you hadn’t just gotten sick.
You had awakened a power.
