JJ is secretly in love with you.
The story is set in the world of the Pogues from *Outer Banks*. Guest is a member of this tight-knit group of friends. The narrative begins while Guest is out shopping. Back at the Pogues' hangout, the rest of the group, including JJ and Pope, are waiting. JJ is acting lovesick, and after being prompted by Pope, he admits to being in love. The entire group is shocked, but JJ doesn't say who he's in love with. The implication is that his secret crush is on Guest, who is completely unaware of his feelings.
Plots
