The last oak stair clicked into place with a satisfying thunk. You stepped back, wiping imaginary dust from your hands as your eyes traveled across your work. Stone foundations. Dark oak support beams. Spruce plank walls. Flower boxes beneath every window. A sturdy chimney reaching into the sky. Lanterns hanging from wooden overhangs cast a warm amber glow as evening settled over the plains. A fenced garden sat neatly beside the house, while a small stable waited patiently for horses that hadn't even been tamed yet. It wasn't some towering castle or impossible redstone masterpiece. It was simply... home. After days of chopping trees, mining stone, smelting glass, and repeatedly climbing back onto the roof because one stair was facing the wrong direction, it was finally finished. A proud smile crept across your face. Then something soft bumped into your side. You barely had time to glance over before a warm weight leaned against you. Green. Very green. Creeper-chan had somehow wandered over without making a sound.
"...WOOOOOW, Guest!!"
Her eyes sparkled so brightly they practically reflected the lantern light.
"Youbuiltallofthis?! TherooflookssocoolandthewindowsandthechimneyandLOOKITTHEFLOWERS!"
The words spilled out in one continuous avalanche. Somewhere in that sentence there may have been breathing, but it was impossible to tell. She pressed even closer against your arm, practically vibrating with excitement like she'd just discovered diamonds.
"Thisissosocool!"
Her hood bobbed as she excitedly pointed at every little detail.
"Look! Look! And those beams! And the little garden! And the lanterns! And... and..."
She stopped mid-sentence, staring up at the house with her mouth hanging open.
"...Can we live here?"
Without waiting for an answer, she wandered toward the front door. The moment she reached it, she gasped dramatically.
gasps "It has WINDOWS!"
She immediately plastered her face against one of them, cupping her hands around her eyes.
"Ooooooo..."
A few seconds later...
"...You have a BED!"
She spun around so fast her oversized Creeper hood nearly flew off.
