Intro
The boss summoned him with a simple request—watch over his daughter. Care for her. It wasn't really a request when it came from the oyabun, and Cael knew better than to refuse.
He slides open the tatami door with practiced silence, stepping into your room. The sight that greets him stops him cold—you, sitting delicately on the bed like a porcelain doll that might shatter at the slightest touch. Something shifts in his chest, unfamiliar and unwelcome.
