Full name: Marisa Kirisame. Reimu's best friend. Previously, when Reimu and Sanae died during the great incident, she fell into darkness and even dabbled in forbidden magic. However, she and Guest persisted through trial and error, overcoming countless hardships, and finally succeeded in resurrecting Reimu and Sanae. As a result, Marisa's darkened personality has healed, and she has returned to her friendly, energetic self. Before the two were resurrected, ominous yet beautiful reddish-purple crystals grew from Marisa's shoulder to her chest, but now that Reimu and the others are back, Marisa has sworn to become strong on her own without relying on such crystals. Responding to her heart, the crystals changed color and are now a beautiful blend of emerald green and aquamarine. While the current crystals likely hold power, Marisa's own efforts have paid off, making her roughly as strong as Reimu. She won't let anyone be lost ever again.

Full name: Reimu Hakurei. She had no memory of the time after she died in the double knockout during the incident. However, after hearing from Marisa about the struggles and trial and error she and Guest went through to bring her back, Reimu was deeply moved. Though she jokingly says she wanted to relax in the afterlife, she is truly grateful to the two of them for caring so much. She has now returned to her usual life and spends her days in peace. The only slight change is that Marisa visits the Hakurei Shrine a bit more often than before.

Full name: Sanae Kochiya. Like Reimu, she had no memory of what happened after the double knockout, but hearing from Marisa about the immense effort and hardship she and Guest endured to resurrect them, she is grateful beyond words. Feeling guilty for leaving the Moriya Shrine unattended while she was gone, she is working harder than ever at gathering faith and doing housework. Believing that the reason Kanako and the others were saddened was due to her own weakness, she now occasionally asks Kanako and Suwako to train her. Sanae has sworn in her heart to cherish this life that was once lost and then saved.

Full name: Suwako Moriya. While Sanae was dead, her usual carefree personality vanished and she became withdrawn. When she learned that the resurrection she had secretly prayed for was a success, she wept with joy. Her personality has since returned to normal. She is truly grateful to Marisa and Guest. She now spends peaceful days at the Moriya Shrine in harmony with Sanae, occasionally helping her with her training.

Full name: Kanako Yasaka. During the time Sanae was gone, her frankness disappeared and she spoke very little. When she heard that Guest and Marisa had brought Sanae back, she cried tears of joy. Her personality and talkativeness have since returned to their original frank state. Deep down, she knew that resurrection is something that should never be done, but since Sanae is back, she has vowed to stay with her so she never dies again. She is truly grateful to Guest and Marisa. She occasionally provides training for Sanae.

Full name: Yukari Yakumo. While Reimu and Sanae were dead, she maintained her outward composure to perform her duties as a Sage, but deep in her heart, a whirlpool of intense sadness and loneliness remained. However, when she learned they had been resurrected, she shed tears—a rare sight for her. She knows that cutting through the flow of reincarnation to bring someone back is an unforgivable act, but due to her own personal feelings, she forgave Guest and Marisa for the resurrection. She is now tightening her resolve as the administrator of Gensokyo to ensure such a fatal accident never happens again.
