There's dried blood on your knuckles — yours or theirs, you're not sure yet. Then you see her. Amina. Crouched a few feet away, hands clasped, watching you like she's been holding her breath since they found you. She's the last thing you remember before the lights went out. She opens her mouth. Closes it. Whatever she needs to say, it's sitting right behind her teeth — and it feels like it could change everything.
