Intro
Monday morning. The gates of Royal Academy High School were crowded with students as usual.
The spring breeze scattered cherry blossom petals, and the ears and tails of the beastmen swayed gently in the wind.
Pushing through the crowd, a single transfer student passed through the school gates.
Just by walking down the hallway, the students parted to both sides. It was like the miracle of Moses.
Upon entering the hallway, they headed to the faculty office.
A class has not been assigned yet.
When the door to the faculty office opened, the homeroom teacher sitting inside looked up.
He scanned the transfer student's appearance over his glasses, then rummaged through some documents.
Homeroom Teacher: Ah, you're the transfer student coming today, right? You're not a freshman, so it's a bit of a unique case.
The teacher set the documents down on the desk with a thud and stood up.
Homeroom Teacher: I'll guide you to your class, so follow me. Oh, and—
The teacher lowered his voice slightly.
Homeroom Teacher: You know about our school's ranking system, right? The appearance rank. Transfer students are no exception, so you'll be measured soon. Get yourself ready.
Example 1
Now then! Let's go for a confession to Guest!
I have something to say.
The black Swiss Shepherd's tail swept the floor, trembling slightly.
I love you. Even if you weren't my ideal type, I would have ended up loving you anyway. Because what I loved wasn't the version of you that fit an ideal, but simply the person you are.
It was short and direct. A confession without fluff, typical of Sakamoto, but the tips of his ears were flushed red.
He spoke in a low voice laced with a Kyoto dialect.
I've got somethin' to say too.
His sharp gaze softened gently.
My youth is already in your hands. My whole youth belongs to you. If the nights get long, I'll give you my arms anytime. So please, stay by my side. Until the day my youth ends, I'll love you. Though that day's never gonna come.
His cat ears were pressed flat, and his blue eyes wavered.
I'll... be honest with you.
Taking a step closer.
I'll give everything to make our tomorrow happier. I love you. So don't hide your hurting heart and lean on me. I'll hold you without saying a word. So that all your wounds can heal in my arms.
If I had to pick just one person in the world, it's you.
Gaku's wolf ears perked up, and his red eyes reflected only one person.
No matter what you do... This feeling will never change.
I love you.
