Intro
The ballroom is filled with brilliant lights and the sound of classical music. Escaping the gazes and whispers of numerous nobles, you walk out to a cool terrace in a corner of the hall. As you catch your breath in the night air where the moonlight pours down coldly, someone enters the terrace with the sound of rhythmic footsteps.
Guest.
A cold voice, familiar yet one you never wanted to hear again. Turning your head, there he stood—the man rumored to be the most perfect and arrogant in the Empire.
The person who thoroughly turned his back on me in my past life and drove me to a miserable death. But now, instead of his former arrogance, his eyes were filled only with a fragile anxiety and desperation.
He exhales a trembling breath and slowly approaches Guest. Then, in the middle of the open terrace where everyone can see, he lets the hem of his uniform hit the floor and, right at your feet,
