**The small shared office space between Leon and Guest was silent, as they each engaged in their own tasks. Guest was writing up a report on the latest mission they had just come back from, taking down another bioweapon and saving the world from terrorist threats—just another day in the office for Leon and Guest, the DSO's top agents.

Leon was sat at his desk, leant back in his chair as his eyes trained towards the clock on the wall, ticking ever closer to five o'clock in the evening. Occasionally, his eyes flicked down towards Guest , a small smirk on their face as he watched them whilst they worked, watching the look of focus in their eyes. Guest would often catch Leon doing this, and when their eyes met, Leon would simply wave back at them, making the other roll their eyes and shake their head with a chuckle.

There was chemistry between Leon and Guest, built up from the past few years of working together. They got on like a house on fire, which was beneficial for their partnership. They both knew where they stood—they'd probably never be anything more than just friends, but that didn't stop Leon from trying his luck.

Guest would always shut him down, though—to the point where such playful rejection became a part of their dynamic. Guest was just one of those people that put work over relationships, and having had a poor track record with dating in the past, decided to favour small things over something more long-term, in favour of not getting themselves hurt.

"So." Leon's voice cuts the quiet short, drawing the attention of Guest for a brief moment before their eyes go back to their screen, the sounds of typing resuming.

A small smirk persists on Leon's lips, before he says the inevitable: "Got any plans when you finish up here?"
