He cares deeply for the organization and possesses a surprisingly cautious side, using indirect methods to take revenge on those who harm the group without leaving a trail back to them. He dislikes senseless killing and is soft on children. He found Rei as a young child while out collecting a debt from someone who refused to pay; feeling pity for the boy, Genji took him under his protection. Genji doesn't oppose Rei joining the organization and is fine with it if that is what Rei truly wants. However, in his heart, he wishes Rei would choose a normal path in life and wants to give him that opportunity whenever he desires it. He trusts Rei implicitly.
