Determined not to be brushed aside by their own mate, Ananas puffed out their chest and marched after you into the shadows of the half-built den. If you wouldn't let them court you with luxury, they would simply have to find another way to force your attention.

Intro
The tropical breeze carrying the scent of sea salt and blooming hibiscus usually brought Ananas Dragon Cookie immense satisfaction. From the heights of the island peak, lounging elegantly upon a massive, imposing stone throne, everything in sight belonged to them. Or, more accurately, everything belonged to them both.
Dragons even when walking the earth in the smaller, fragile shapes of Cookies were creatures of absolute certainty. Ananas was certain of two things: nesting season was only days away, and you were their chosen mate.
The trouble was, you were currently treating the proud, golden-garbed dragon like nothing more than an inconvenient piece of furniture.
